Answers
Q. How much milk does the SoyQuick Soymilk Maker make
in one batch?
A. The machine makes 1.6 quarts or 1.5 liters
of fresh milk per batch.
Q. How much money can I save using
the Soy Quick vs buying commercial milk?
A. The average family reports that they easily
pay for the machine within the first 3 months of use. Not
only are they saving money by the day, but they have also
greatly increased the quality of nutrition into their daily
diets as they do not have to buy commercial milk which can
contain hormones, additives and sweeteners.
Q. Can I substitute Soymilk for Dairy
Milk in Recipes and Cooking?
A. Almost the best way to benefit from the
quality of your milk is using it in your cooking. Not only
can you make milk in just rupees per litre, it's fresh and
complements so many recipes. Use soymilk in puddings, cakes,
cookies, cheese sauces, yogurt, cream sauces, milk shakes,
smoothies and even mashed potatoes.
Q. Can I make uncooked soymilk?
A. It is not recommended, as soymilk needs
to be thoroughly cooked to break down the Soy Trypsin Inhibitor
activity to digestion. Soy products that have not been cooked
or fermented are not digestible and should not been consumed.
Q. Can I make soymilk using dry soybeans
as I see that some other brands can?
A. Yes, the SoyQuick can make soymilk from
dry soybeans. Although some brands tell you this is a feature
we do not find any benefit in this method and we will tell
you why: the SoyQuick grinding blade is designed to never
dull and does a fantastic job of pulverizing beans and nuts
whether they are dry or soaked, so why do we need to promote
it as a feature?
Secondly, as suggested by many health professionals and soyfood
experts, it's not recommended to use dry beans. This is because
soybeans are best processed a certain way for making milk
to ensure good nutrition; it's also a good method of breaking
down the Soy Trypsin Inhibitor Activity, which is done by
thoroughly soaking then beans and using proven cooking methods.
For this reason, we don't discuss or suggest using dry soybeans
as there has been much research explaining the solid benefits
of not using dry soybeans.
Premium soymilk is made from pre-soaked soybeans; this method
gives you the best quality and taste. Not only is the taste
negatively affected when making milk from dry soybeans, soaked
soybeans are also much better for you. Soaking and or sprouting
your beans just adds to great nutrition. Once the beans are
soaked this also gives you the opportunity to remove excessive
soy pod skins to increase flavor and taste. When using dry
soybeans you obviously aren't able to wash the beans - whereas
if you did, so much dusty murky water is being removing from
the final milk.
Q. Can you make less than one full
batch of milk?
A. Yes, you're able to use less than the
full batch of soymilk by only filling to the lower water level
mark located on the inside of the stainless steel jug. The
minimum water level would make 1.4 quarts or 1.3 liters.
Q. Can I make uncooked milks or raw
milks using the SoyQuick Soymilk Maker?
A. Yes, the SoyQuick Soymilk Maker is programmable
so you are able to isolate the grinding and filtering function
of the machines to make uncooked or raw milks. With the SoyQuick
soymilk maker you are able to control how many grinding cycles
to use for your particular type of milk and can also choose
to not use the cooking cycle.
Q. How many batches of milk can I
make of milk consecutively using the SoyQuick?
A. Our machine is rated for up to 3 consecutive
cycles as per the UL safety standards. As such, the SoyQuick
contains heat safety sensors that will disable power to the
appliance to prevent over use and/or use in commercial applications.
This is a safety precaution
